ICT Administrator
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Sweden are now looking for an ICT Administrator to help strengthen our technical infrastructure and support our life‑saving mission.
About the Role
As an ICT Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that our IT systems and communication solutions operate in a stable, secure, and efficient manner. This role is central to maintaining a high quality of our services and includes everything from technical support and system administration to security management, documentation, and the development of our processes.
You will work broadly with both the operation and development of our infrastructure and collaborate closely with the rest of the ICT team to deliver services that are robust, modern, and user‑friendly.
Main Responsibilities
System Administration
Install, configure, and maintain servers, network equipment, and workstations.
Ensure reliable backup and recovery.
Network & Infrastructure
Manage and monitor the network, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical support to users and handle IT‑related incidents.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and ensure quick restoration of services.
IT Security
Implement and maintain security protocols.
Monitor systems and act on potential security incidents.
Software & Hardware
Install and update software.
Maintain hardware inventories and perform regular upgrades.
We are looking for you who have
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience as a systems administrator in a Windows environment.
Extensive knowledge and experience with:
Windows Server
Active Directory
Entra ID
Intune
O365/M365
Networks, firewalls, and backup systems
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
Fluency in English, spoken and written.
A valid work permit for Sweden.
To succeed in this role, you are an experienced and motivated person who takes responsibility for your tasks and thrives in a dynamic environment. You contribute to the team with flexibility and strong communication skills.

Swedish language skills, spoken and written
Relevant certifications
Experience with scripting or programming, especially PowerShell

Employment terms and conditions
· Type of contract: Permanent (6 months probation period)
· Entry date: Asap
· Goal oriented working time (37,5 hours/week is full time)
· Salary: 37 532 SEK/month (if you have 3 years experience as requested). The salary is set according to the MSF Sweden Salary policy. Previous relevant documented work experience, beyond the years of requirement, (minimum 3) can give additional salary increase (depending on length of experience, maximum up to 8 years and 7,5 percent). This will be evaluated and calculated if shortlisted for interview.
· Benefits: Pension, health insurance, life insurance, travel insurance, insurance for work related injuries, wellness contribution (3000 SEK/year) and one wellness hour per week.
· Vacation: 30 days/year + 3,5 work free days for all employees (which ones varies from year to year)
· Full compensation day 1-14 of sick leave
· Flexibel working policy which allowed you to work from a distance. Minimum 50 % of working time should be in the office in Årstadal/Liljeholmen.
· As an employee with MSF Sweden you are bound by the collective bargaining agreement for non-profit organisations between Fremia and Unionen & Akademikerförbunden.
